Trust & Security

How Geoflow protects surveyor credentials, project data, and client records — with NDPR-aligned practices built for Nigerian field and office workflows.

NDPR Compliant Nigeria Data Protection

KYC verification for surveyors

Trust on Geoflow starts with knowing who is operating on the platform. Surveyors and firm owners may be asked to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) style verification before accessing certain verification, publishing, or compliance-sensitive features.

  • Submit professional identity details such as full name, firm affiliation, and contact information.
  • Provide licence, SURCON/professional membership, or other registration evidence where applicable.
  • Upload supporting documents or images for review by our team when required.
  • Keep credentials current — outdated or mismatched records can pause trust features until re-verified.
  • Verified status helps clients and partners rely on plans and records produced through Geoflow.

KYC data is handled under our Privacy Policy and used only for verification, security, and compliance — not sold.

Data encryption and storage

  • All public and authenticated traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS so data is encrypted in transit.
  • Application data (including project and coordinate records) is hosted on secured cloud infrastructure with provider-level encryption and access controls.
  • Backups and operational monitoring support recovery and early detection of unusual activity.
  • We minimise access to production environments and review privileged accounts regularly.

NDPR registration and compliance

Geoflow is registered and compliant with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation. We design product workflows and organisational practices to support lawful processing, data-subject rights, and accountable handling of personal data.

Role-based access for firm accounts

Firm workspaces are not a free-for-all. Geoflow uses role-based access control so owners and administrators can decide who sees what:

  • Owners and admins manage users, billing-related settings, and high-privilege actions.
  • Team members receive only the permissions required for their day-to-day project work.
  • Project and client records stay inside the firm’s workspace boundaries.
  • Sessions are authenticated; sharing passwords is discouraged and may violate acceptable use.
