Geoflow Co-founder - Emmanuel Idowu Presents Technical Paper on Addressing Survey Fraud Using a Digital Geospatial Framework at 60th Annual General Meeting

By Geoflow Team

As part of the Technical Session at the 60th NIS AGM and Conference, Geoflow Co-Founder Emmanuel Idowu presented a technical paper titled:

"Addressing Survey Fraud and Inefficiencies Using a Digital Geospatial Framework Called Geoflow."

The presentation examined some of the persistent challenges affecting surveying practice, including document fraud, inefficient record management, fragmented workflows, and the need for greater transparency in survey information management.

The paper introduced Geoflow as a digital geospatial framework designed to improve how survey projects are managed, verified, and delivered. It highlighted how technologies such as secure digital records, QR code verification, centralized project management, and cloud-based collaboration can help strengthen confidence in surveying outputs while improving operational efficiency.

The presentation generated valuable discussions among conference participants regarding the future of digital surveying in Nigeria and the role technology can play in supporting professional standards and improving service delivery.

For the Geoflow team, presenting at the Technical Session represents another important milestone in our commitment to supporting innovation within the surveying profession, not only by building software but also by contributing to research and industry dialogue.

We appreciate everyone who attended the presentation, shared feedback, and engaged in thoughtful discussions. These conversations continue to shape the future direction of GeoFlow as we work toward building a trusted digital ecosystem for geospatial professionals.
